I just recently saw the movie death sentence and its first twenty minutes was an introduction that follows this textual explanation of an introduction. The first part of the movie shows the two sides. One is a family that has two kids and one kid is an excellent hockey player. Then you see the other characters that are gangsters that kill people and live a crazy lif of crime. These two sides dont mix until the hockey player son is murdered by the game in an intiation killing. The dad spots one of the man and decides to take revenge into his own responsibility. The movies main idea is that this family man turns into a killer to get revenge. The introduction builds us up very well before we even know what the movie is about. Introductions are important they lay out the ground work for the rest of the production whether its an essay, article or movie. I can remember countless times asking my friends in a movie “wait whos that guy and why is he there” i have this confusion that is caused by a poor introduction.
